The intended audience for this conference includes primary care physicians, gynecologists, medical oncologists, obstetricians, radiation oncologists, and surgical oncologists.  Fellows, residents, advanced practice nurses, genetics professionals, physician associates, tumor registrars, and any other healthcare professionals with an educational need or interest in this topic may also attend.


Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Provide updates in cancer statistics and screening guidelines.
  2. Describe treatment protocols for all stages of lung cancer.
  3. Understand the use of modern technology to diagnose, stage, and treat.
  4. Discuss disparity and opportunity in screening high-risk patients.

In support of improving patient care, The Cooper Health System is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
