Overview

Experience engaging sessions that help learners describe current and emerging evaluation techniques, diagnostic and imaging procedures, and treatment protocols for various orthopaedic conditions.


Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Describe current and emerging evaluation techniques, diagnostic and imaging procedures, and treatment protocols for various orthopaedic conditions.
  2. Discuss and illustrate evaluation and treatment techniques to improve patient outcomes, function, and return to sport.
  3. Evaluate the average number of patella dislocations and medial patellofemoral ligament reconstruction surgeries per month at Cooper University Health Care, both before and after this symposium to determine if the number increases post symposium due to learner knowledge and referral to orthopaedics.

In support of improving patient care, The Cooper Health System is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
