Overview

Experience engaging and interactive breakout sessions in Acute Care, Primary Care, Professional Growth and Special Population while connecting with colleagues across specialties.

Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Evaluate and apply current evidence-based practices across complex and high-risk clinical conditions to improve patient outcomes. Participants will be able to assess emerging and established clinical approaches related to cardiovascular therapies (including LVADs), oncology, orthopedics, neurologic injury, radiology, pediatrics, addiction, mental health, obesity and GLP-1 therapies, and primary care management, and incorporate these practices into safe, effective, patient-centered care.
  2. Analyze ethical, legal, and regulatory considerations impacting clinical decision-making and professional practice. Participants will be able to examine ethical principles, legal frameworks, and regulatory requirements related to bioethics, medical aid in dying, drug diversion, military–civilian care partnerships, LGBTQ+ health, and end-of-life and behavioral health care, and apply these considerations to promote ethical practice, patient safety, and health equity.
  3. Implement interprofessional collaboration and leadership strategies to enhance health care quality and system performance. Participants will be able to apply principles of collaborative governance, advanced practice leadership, and interdisciplinary teamwork to improve care coordination, organizational effectiveness, clinical excellence, and engagement across diverse health care settings.

Accreditation

In support of improving patient care, The Cooper Health System is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
