Intellectual and Development Disabilities (IDD) Education Series - ASD and Co-occurring Conditions: Novel Approaches

AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (2.00 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (2.00 hours)

1. To discuss the different classes of medications used to treat co-occurring conditions in patients with ASD including ADHD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, Intermittent Explosive Disorder, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
2. To discuss the potential benefits and risks of these medications.
3. To illustrate principles of rational pharmacotherapy via use of clinical case studies.

Preregistration is REQUIRED for this FREE CME activity.

In support of improving patient care, The Cooper Health System is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
